OH WHAT AN AMAZING DAY...

So I took Sunday off ,Thank you Erin for working for me , So I could do the Grossly Huge , overflowing pile of Discusting out of control laundry.

Ok so it wasn't that bad but you know the feeling...

Well when I woke up Sunday Morning I just didn't want to! *crossing arms across chest* And no one could make me! So there!

And to seal the deal on my boycott of the laundry Jacob , the delicious piece of meat I'm dating, text asking me to breakfast... Hmm Breakfast with cute boy or laundry... Gosh , what to do what to do ... Breakfast Duh! I love food! So off we went to iHop for some Yummy Strawberry Crepes (my fav!)

How can you not love those!?

Anywho... My stomach got me sidetracked. So Breakfast was good , Then we walked over to Albertson's for some grocery's (this felt a little domestic but the boy kept me distracted) . After Albertson's Jacob had the brilliant idea to go to Petco and check out the birds... which led to fish, which led to reptiles, which led to Ferrits! Oh how I want one now! They had little baby ferrits that wanted to play and bite and scratch and play more and were soooo CUTE! We even went as far as to go on line and look on petfinder.com which thankfully there was nothing in the area for adoption (otherwise i may have had a new furry friend) and I wasn't about to pay $135.00 for a new one. So we sadly left the store petless, with nothing to do until I remember I need to price Laptops for my School adventure. Off we went across the street to BestBuy and found the most pretty blueish colored one that I LOVE! Now to try to save up for the stinkin thing! Sheesh they are expensive! I am really thinking I may just need a cute little NetBook. The cute little curly headed geeky kid that just put his mother on his cellphone plan told me it is everything I need for half the price. Hmmm Something to think about. Thanks Nerd Boy who makes perfect Belgium Waffles Thanks!

After we were done harassing the BestBuy staff we decided that since it was almost 6pm! we should probably change out of our PJ's and eat dinner. So I got spoiled with Red Lobster and About died of happiness over their amazing rolls! OH WOW! They are my new favorite and I ate about 10 while waiting for my endless shrimp that I wasn't even hungry for when I was done... Thank Goodness Jacob has Very large hollow legs. That boy can EAT!

By the time I got Jacob home so he could go to bed for school and went home it was close to 10! I can't believe how that day flew! It was so much fun!

AND TODAY....?

I spend the ENTIRE day doing laundry , which I finished!, while watching America's Next Top Model (don't judge me I couldn't look away!) - oh I did take time to go to Down East where I found some amazing jeans that I would have usually spent $200 on but got them for $50! Thanks! I know I am amazing! Now I am at work... So That is my last 2 days in a nutshell. :)

P.S.

I get to pick up my girls in Las Vegas tomorrow! Yaaay!

and we are having a family photo shoot... This will be interesting!

Swiss kind of day...

Today I Visited my Swiss Roots and spent the day helping out my friend Audrey and Ross at the Swiss Days Festival in Santa Clara. It was super fun and I think I annoyed a billion people with my non stop talking :) TAKE THAT SANTA CLARANS!!!

1st - Helping w/ the Poutine Booth... So much fun! I was in charge of getting people to come try the food. It is a Canadian Dish of Fresh Cut fries, Cheese Curd and a Hot Canadian Gravy. We had a lot of brave people come an try the new dish and Hope they all liked it.

2nd- A shout out to my Great Grandpa. He came from Sainte Croix Switzerland when he was 11 with the missionaries and took up roots with the Schmutz Family adopting the last name for work. My mom has tapes of him telling stories of his home town and walking to the French border which was only a few miles in the mountains from his home. A very Beautiful place. (I'll post some pics)

Day 2 of being kid free...

So the Girls went to Grandma's house 1.5 days ago. They are living it up in Las Vegas while I am here, missing them and slaving away at work until Tuesday. Here is how my lonely day went...

0800- Woke up and got Byron up and ready for school

0830- Rolled back into bed

0900- Rolled out of bed again

0930- Went Visit Teaching

1030- Went home and changed into workout clothes (planning on going to the gym)

1032- Decided to go shopping instead

1050- Pulled into the Big 5 Parking lot excited to get new workout shoes! (ruined the old ones doing gardening *darn you gardening*)

1100- Staring aimlessly at all the billions of shoes feeling slightly overwhelmed, deciding to start looking for the "pretty" shoes and go from there.

1110- Found a totally cute pair , that squished my toes. Felt Bummed

1115- Help came!!! The poor sales clerk came to help me and listened so patiently as I told her about finding a very cute, but uncomfortable pair of crosstrainers.

1117- Sales Clerk notified me they had ONE MORE PAIR of last years model in the back just in my size! They were perfect!!! I love them dearly now and will wear them with EVERYTHING! Not to mention they were clearanced AND 25% off that! $50.00 baby!

1119- Checked out and paid for my new shoes and made friends with the check out lady who showed off really cute pictures of her son. Mmm Mmmm Mmm (very successful day so far)

1130- Went to Old Navy , super awesome sale!

1145- Recieved call from friend to pick them up from hospital

1155- Checked out at Old Navy with 7 shirts and 2 pairs of shorts! saving 50% and spending only $30.00!!! I know! Right!? I am super bargain shopper! Whoop!

1200- Pulled into the hospital

1210- Got lost in the hospital , but made friends with a little old man who made me laugh , A LOT

1215- Back on track , Found Friend

1220- Took Drugged Friend to get meds at Walgreens

1230- Fed Friend soup

1300- Tucked Friend into bed

1305- Got ready to go see Another Friend who had a booth at Swiss Days

1315- Took Byron to Lona at work

1345- Drove to Santa Clara

1350- Stuck behind the slowest driver EVER!

1351- Passed Slowest driver EVER, Glaring at them with my "stank face"

1400- Arrived at Swiss Days , Found friend

1415- Tried Poutine (poo-tin) for the first time. Soooo Yummy! It's Canadian

1530- Went to work

1818- BORED!!!!!

So In other words I wandered around town without a plan. Never a good thing for me, but I stayed out of trouble and met a lot of people. I'll chalk it up as a Good Day :)

Going back to School...

Last week I was talking to my mom about going back to school. I have wanted to since having kids and well, any mother knows that is just not going to happen with small rugrats toddling around! (and kudo's to those single mothers out there that did it) Now that both my girls are in school , Gabby in 1st grade and Lydia in Pre-School , I think it is now time!

So I gathered myself up and took myself on over to the Dixie State College , granted i had NO idea where I was going or what I was supposed to be doing, Burst into the first building I came to , and said, "I would like to go to college! Where do I sign up?!" There was an awkward pause from those students loitering around the building and some eye rolling from the ladies behind the desk, but dang it I was Happy and nothing was going to burst my bubble... until they told me I had to retake the Math Placement Test... That is when my little bubble popped. *sigh* I shiver just thinking of me walking into the testing center, looking scared and all alone, staring at the young peppy college girl behind the desk and with Puss-n-boots eyes that were glassy from the unshed tears telling her that I had to take the math test. She showed me into the Locked dungeon type room full of nervous sweating students and some ancient computers , which she logged me into, and said good luck. And there is began, Algebra... I had NO IDEA what I was doing! Sooo.... I started playing the "guess this answer" game. I figured no math should have letters in the equation thus getting rid of them all and guessing the answer with just numbers was the correct thing to do... I was wrong... *face palm* What did I get myself into?! I am now stuck in the lowest math class you can possibly take in College. I think Gabby is doing this same math. Guess I'll be asking my 6 year old for help.

Wish me luck starting January I will be a Full Time student of Dixie State College , Full Time Mother to Gabby and Lydia AND a Full Time 911 Dispatcher...

So it begins...

AND so it begins... Me blogging. No the World has not come to AN end yet , I just figured this looks A LOT easier then scrapbooking AND I may ACTUALLY be ABLE to do it. *victory dance* Bare with me AS I try to untangle ALL the thoughts in my head.
